A Lifetime of Music, Entertainment & a Little Bit of Sparkle

Music has been part of Tracey’s life for as long as she can remember. She grew up surrounded by performers — her grandmother loved opera, her grandfather and uncle loved dance and theater, and both of her parents were musicians. Her dad played guitar and performed in bands, while her mom was a beautiful singer. The love of music was truly in her blood.

Tracey began singing in school choirs and performing in plays as a child, eventually becoming a frequent soloist in high school. After taking some time away from performing, karaoke unexpectedly brought her back. She entered singing competitions, won several, and quickly realized how much she missed being onstage. That led to her first band in the late 1990s and eventually to Hot Walker, a country band that performed throughout Michigan, including at Detroit’s Downtown Hoedown and venues where they opened for artists such as David Lee Murphy, John Anderson, Tammy Cochran, Shelly Wright, River Road, Anita Cochran, and many others.

Eventually, Tracey followed the dream to Nashville. She spent several years performing in honky-tonks along Broadway, where she truly felt like a star. Nashville also gave her the opportunity to explore her own music, attend writers’ nights, and continue reinventing herself as an artist. She’s written songs, met incredible musicians, and had the privilege of being invited to sing with and open for talented artists.

Today, Tracey continues to embrace every opportunity music brings her way. She’s performed at the fabulous Franklin Theatre and traveled to different cities with shows celebrating artists and eras including Neil Diamond, Barry Manilow, the music of the 70s, one-hit wonders, and some of her favorite Christmas productions.

For Tracey, music is about much more than singing. It’s about connection, storytelling, joy, and creating a moment people remember. And if there’s a little sparkle and a great costume involved, even better. After all, she’s been entertaining people since she was a baby in a hospital crib.
